Iran seeks swap of Brits for suicide attackers

Report says 40 Revolutionary Guard 'volunteers' held by UK

Iran apprehended British military personnel and Navy vessels earlier this week in order to secure release of 40 "suicide operations volunteers" held by the UK, according to an Iranian Revolutionary Guard source.

The source told the London Arabic-language daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that the British Army command in Iraq received the demand from the Revolutionary Guard, reported the Middle East Media Research Institute.

According to the source, the content of the message was very simple: "Release our comrades, whom you are holding, and we will release your soldiers."

Did you read my post #3825? Ya done good. Please refer to the SALUTE format at that post #. BTW, were there EVER many Burkas in Center City before? I have never seen a Burka in real life here. Muslim population wears the traditional headscarves and such, but I've yet to see a full length Burka! However, the South Florida Heat may have something to do with this. LOL

My nerves got the best of me, and I departed.

When Bush was in town in January, he spoke briefly to a group of Republicans meeting at a major hotel. Several of these visitors became ill. The next day, a company from Jersey held a convention in the same hotel.

69 of these people had to be taken to area emergency rooms for treatment of violent gastrointenstinal symptoms. MANY others became ill as well- but hung on in the hotel or went home.

There was no followup on what caused these illnesses.

This particular hotel is quite near City Hall. It is on Market St. as you head toward Pennsylvania Station, the Gallery Mall, and the like.

It has an excellent reputation not only for food, but for cleanliness.

What happened to the days between the second and the tenth? I was in Cape Cod for a week and I am just catching up. Kerry is President in Cape Cod; I did not see even a picture of Bush all week or one news story. Between Kerry and the Redsox I just wanted to kill myself. Can't wait for next year's Cape Vacation!
