"LOL. You want her to actively campaign for him. OK. The fact remains that she did come out and make a public statement of support."
Nope, I really don't have a dog in that particular fight, with the exception of how it will effect the control of the Senate. Polling data shows he was in trouble long before this story broke.
My point is her "public statement of support" isn't as "public" as it could be. I haven't seen her on any shows such as CNN or Fox or MSNBC, for example.
And again, its doubtful it would actually help him anyway, it appeared he was a loser two months ago.

Divorce records as a rule should remain private and not in the public light. There is no need to give both sides the loaded gun of public embarassment in order to prolong cases.
That said, political reality is that Ryan is not going to win, he should step aside.

"Ryan told reporters he "tried as hard as I could" to tell party officials what was in the documents. "I told everybody the exact same thing there was nothing in the file that would prevent me from running for the U.S. Senate.""
Why didn't he just tell them (republican minders and handlers) exactly what was in his file. He tried as hard as he could my *ss. Sounds like a cover-up to me. He rolled the dice that the records wouldn't be opened (until later when it didn't matter anymore), and he lost. Unfortunately, the Republicans of Illinois (and elsewhere) also lost out by wasting their time and energies on a loser-candidate.
Oh well, guess I'll vote libertarian this time around. My guy lost the Illinois Republican Primary, but at least he had integrity (and humility) and didn't conveniently cover up his past.
Calling Governor Edgar. Paging Governor Edgar. Are you by chance available, say the next 6 years?
