Collect pine needles, clean, boil, drink.

It was an effective treatment and preventative for scurvy back in the days before we could obtain a steady supply of fruits and veggie in the winter.

It also will clear out your sinuses and help your cough.

On the other hand you will be franticly brushing your teeth trying to get the taste out of your mouth.

Only the green banana and carrot remedy was worse.

For pine needles liquor (or any other flavored vodka) you need to collect the fresh needles, wash and dry them, then in a high-speed blender mix them with a decent vodka and put it away in a dark cold place to sediment. After appropriate time decant the liquid from the mush at the bottom. The taste, though, will be atrocious. If you do not use the blender, you may get away with simply keeping plant material under vodka in a closed vessel for very long time - sometimes months.
