Yes. He gives great speeches at military bases that get only limited cable news broadcasts.
Then he does a lousy, embarrassing national press conference that the major networks carry.
Heck, the RNC should tape the speeches like this one and buy an hour on the 3 major networks and broadcast it. It would be well worth the cost.

Dear, Tom, I wasn't embarrassed....This is an entirely different group to speak to....You can't forget that presser..most have forgotten it. I recall his G8 presser...Great!
. The press does not ask the kind of questions that allow for this kind of expansion of his policies.
