Well McCain was so sought after, Hagel is a natural second choice...;)
You know, it would be interesting to see the reaction of all those separate "communities" that populate the Dem party if Kerry went to the GOP to get Hagel. He might have been able to get away with McCain due to his media-drive celebrity status. But Hagel? That would be a hoot!
