I keep thinking the next "hit" will be somewhere in Flyover Country, USA, so that NO-ONE feels safe ANYWHERE. I mean, we had a meeting attended by 3 U.S. congressmen here last month with LITTLE OR NO security at the door.

Minneapolis has the second largest Somali population in the US behind NYC. They work everywhere - most often in parking ramps, at the airport, and as taxi drivers.
If there is any strong connections between Somali's and Al Qaeda then I'm sure they're under scrutiny here. Recently, a student at the UofM was taken into Federal custody after being busted as an Al Qaeda operative.

Tom Clancy Storyline... Yes, by terrorists who got into the U.S. across an unguarded southern border. But there are people who don't believe that's possible. Not only is it possible, it is probable.

Ohh yeah... that WAS a Tom Clancy storyline..wasn't it? Shootout in the shopping mall It seems that Clancy has an inside scoop on al-queda tactics and made a pretty profit.
Who knows maybe his source of income has dried up and thus his criticism of Bush, along with zinni, about going after the bad guys in real life.
