Because of the love and deep respect President Reagan held for the people of California, it was his wish that a special time be set aside to give his friends and supporters on the west coast an opportunity to pay their respects and say goodbye. President Reagan will lie in repose at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for a period of 32 hours. He will then be taken to our nation's Capital for the State Funeral events. There he will lie in state at the United States Capitol, and a funeral ceremony will follow at the Washington National Cathedral. President Reagan will then return to his beloved California, where private interment services will be conducted at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

In light of Hanoi John French Kerry's rather inappropriate conduct in attending this memorial and noticeably trying to transfer attention to himself, take note of the following from above:
1) Last time I checked Hanoi John was from MASSACHUSETTES. The memorial at Simi Valley was specificlly "specifically set aside to give his friends and supporters on the WEST COAST an opportunity to pay their respects and say goodbye". Kerry is NOT from the West Coast and, presuming he will be attending the ceremonies in DC, as he's expected, he's not yet going to be saying "goodbye".
2) NO PHOTOGRAPHY Even for the many Vietnam or other honored era vets who waited for hours in line only to be pushed aside for Hanoi John's photo-op.
This appearance today by Kerry was in the poorest of form so I reproduced this document for your perusal.
Kerry is an idiot, everyone know it. If they don't they must be blind because he shows his idiocy every 3.14 minutes. ;->
I didn't see him taking any pictures. I believe it's the media that did that. Do you really have so much time on your hands that you have to come up with things like this to be mad about?
Don't expect the press to pick up on this...
Instead look for Kerry's picture to pop up tomorrow in papers across the nation.
Someone should start a thread lsiting all the newpapers or on-line sites that reproduce a picture of Kerry there.
Then let the letters to the editor fly.
Kerry is a pathetic thug of a Jerk, and a Hypocritical pathological LIAR.
Regards,
Joe
His own photographer no less.
Did you see him turn his face entirely to the camera on his walk out the door??? The cameraman had to be 2 ft. from his face and Kerry mugged right to it the WHOLE WAY OUT!! He's an absolute moron!!!!
........and after Clinton, I thought I'd been all "hated" out, but I'll tell ya, John Kerry is coming in a very close second!!
..."Inappropriate conduct" Sums all of this up...
This was nothing but a photo-op for Kerry, one which he won't get any mileage out of anyway.
Here is how Kerry makes atribute, courtesy of AP Photographers following him around today at the Library.

Suspended campaign my eye. What a Hypocrite.
Two Thumbs up, I wonder what he really is thinking. Doesn't take a lot to figure out he only cares about himself.
Think about it.
Have you ever Gone to a Funeral, saw someone you knew and given a thumbs up?
That is the most disrespectful thing I have seen this week.
Worse than all the drivel in the papers the libs are spewing.
At least they didn't show up and desecrate the memory of someone they could never approach on intelect, or deeds. But nothing is beneath Kerry this week, and I'm sure there will be more to come.
Regards,
Joe
Rules are only meant for commoners.
Now, back in line, you peasant!
umm...
He's not making this up.
Kerrey brought in his own team and personal photog' to record the event. His entourage drew some disgusted looks from the crowd. Most folks were standing there simply shocked at the scene.
Hard to believe, but so are most things Kerrey does.
* Absolutely no photography will be allowed inside the Library.
see this link http://www.cnn.com/
This is a quote from a CNN article link is http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/08/reagan.main/index.html
"...Kerry, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, was escorted through a side entrance into the room where Reagan's casket lay and stood briefly before the casket before leaving Tuesday afternoon."
Couldn't stand in line like the rest of "US(A)" could ya silver spoon.
"Kerry, D-Massachusetts, suspended "overtly political" events this week in observance of Reagan's death. Aides said he was in California for family and personal reasons...."
Yeah all except his overbearing photo-op at the expense of a great man.
Hey Kerry, even Clinton didn't stoop this low to get a photo-op. At least Slick Willie did something to get his press, not ride like a vulture on the dead!!
It's an indicator of character which I believe Kerry aptly demonstrates himself severely lacking of such. Remember the Wellstone funeral. Now place into context with an apparently soulless man who interrupts the integrity and solemnity of such a procession for his own, selfish purposes, trying to shift attention to himself.
Now place in proper context considering this man, Hanoi John French Kerry, proudly proclaims himself the greatest antagonist of Reagan in defeating communism in Central America and was the most eminent principal stooge in propping up Kommandante Ortega.
This man was not "paying his respects"
. Recognize that and realize that if paths were chosen we in California would have a nearby port in Managua serving as a Soviet nuclear submarine base and aircraft carrier turning basin to the south along the western coast of the United States. This is serious business and, thank God, Reagan prevailed. For Kerry to intervene in his (Reagan's) outlined providence is not only insulting it's characteristic of somebody Clinton-esque, likening Kerry's "thumbs up" to the press, from his limousine, immediately afterwards, to Clinton's laughing transformation at Ron Brown's funeral.
You are not suggesting this was a planned photo-op since Reagan's life and times has taken over the news....do you????
Why is he holding his hand over his chest? Heartburn?
Kerry was there solely for HIS photo's BY the media.
The press is following HIOM around and promoting HIS agenda .... No Kerry, no press.
Taking advantage of every photo-op Kerry can squeeze, especially when Kerry declared himself "not campaigning" due to Reagan's death.
Hah, hah.
When Kerry dies, someone remind me to show up at his funeral in a RED DRESS!
Will Teresa please buy this man a clue. Once again he lies when he says he won't be doing any overt campaigning.
His appearance would have meant more to appear in Washington and pay his respects...but that's that too easy and right.
