He was a reckless cowboy; an “amiable dunce;" a disengaged manager who delegated decisions because he was intellectually deficient, fiscally irresponsible, all image, little substance.
For decades, that was the view espoused by his critics, and trumpeted in the partisan press who could not understand why he was so beloved by the American people -- in office, and afterward. Now the same media outlets have rushed to pay tribute to the man and president he was, in some cases discovering for the first time a giant who changed the world, whose core beliefs never wavered. A president whose public face wasn’t a political veneer rather the true refection of an optimistic spirit that was his nature.
Originally a self-professed FDR liberal Democrat, he ultimately became the center of gravity for a conservative revolution that is still growing — in America and beyond. His social and economic policies have impacted not just America, but the world. His belief in freedom and American military strength, led to the defeat of an "Evil Empire" that killed millions of its own citizens and threatened our stability. In former Soviet-dominated nations, millions now live with freedoms their parents never imagined possible.
Ronaldus Magnus, Ronald Reagan, is more than an American hero. His legacy belongs to the world, and the cause of human freedom he championed with honest convictions and a smile on his face. Now...God is smiling back.

My usual station in York, PA, WSBA-910 is playing Balt Orioles, and I can't find Rush on any of the usual Savage Nation stations, KNEW, WOR, KXL, KERN, etc.
