As I currently have on my "Sig File" ...

"(The modern Left) has moved beyond old socialistic morality or even moral relativism to something much darker. It has become amoral nihilism, the rejection of any tradition or convention of morality, a post-Marxism with deep resentments, even hatreds of the norms of free and democratic Western civilization." --- Canadian Leader Stephen Harper

Well, nice to see that Liberals are cursing Dalton McGuinty for the "wonderful" budget in Ontario. Ontarians are looking forward to June 28 to get even, and it's gonna be a bitch!!!

Just the sort of thing that leads to rioting after college sporting events or yesterdays attack on police officers in Minnesota. Most frightening is the fact that these people will one day assume the leadership of the worlds nations.

lets pull a liberal trick. They like to play with words so lets join them. Lets start calling these busy bodies, that want to hammer everyone into form, what they really are; Elitist involved in the elitism movent that know better than any one else how to run your personal life. Collective thinking is death for the individual.

Perhaps with Reagan's passing, Canada will look back with fondness at the days when America and Canada were partners (Mulroney and Reagan)

I wish, but most Canadians look back on Mulroney with disdain. They accuse him of selling off valuable assets to the Americans and signing the free trade agreements. I hope and pray but I'm pretty sure northern Mexico is already too far gone.

Maybe Canada isn't so different from the US after all. Just read "wily French Liberal Party leaders" for "weasely Southern Democratic presidential candidates." When they're out of the picture, the conservatives don't do so bad in either country.

Anglo-Canadian Protestant Liberals, like Northern Liberal Democrats here, can be quite strident and "challenged" in the charm department. Also, it's always helpful to be able to bring a large bloc of votes to the table like Quebec (or not to concede whole region as Northern Democrats usually do with the South in the US).

Of course, without term limits, the WFLPLs can stay around for a very long time...
