It's an absolutely true story, and especialy relevantas we here all the negative comments about how Reagan wasn't interested in the samll details..he was happy to delegate..When the Carter crowd moved into the WH, seems all the left/libs were determined to get their share of the perks...one of which was use of the WH tennis court..seems one day Carter heard a loud argument among several of his staffers about scheduled court time, so, to avoid further problems, he took the sign-up book and kept in on his desk for several months...anyone who wanted to book court time had to do it through Carter..

Ha! Fitting duty for the President of the greatest national entity in the universe. And maybe it was the limit of Carter's capabilities too...to keep track of whose using the WH tennis court. What was he thinking?
