I will perform my service to the country by trying to raise three men who will keep President Reagan's City shining.
I know, I hate low-res pictures, but under the circumstances something might be better that nothing. I wish I could be there with you guys but we are 400 miles away and can't get off work. I'll look for you on the news.

Thank you both for you
replies and assistance.
I can't make it on Monday,
but right now, some of us
are trying to arrange to
get up north for the motorcade
route on Friday...
Hope we can all meet and stand
together.
Thanks Onyx. I hope that works out. My work schedule is pretty rigid this week. If I don't get to hook up with you guys, it's not intentional. Take care.
Thanks Doughty.
I wish I could join yall tomorrow.
Peace be with you.
We are on our way out. If anyone needs to contact us freepmail D1 and he will give you a cell number where we can be reached.
Y'all are lucky to be able to attend, as we in GA cannot. I am talking with the local GOP to do something on Friday.
I wish they could do a train ride across America for him, I imagine the turnout would be unbelievable.
"It appears the Moorepark Community College may have experienced a name change in the last few years,
from the Lutherin College, but I can't verify that."
Moorpark and Cal Lutheran are two separate colleges. If you go to Cal Lutheran on Olsen you'll be at the wrong place. Be sure to go to Moorpark College.
"Are no cameras at all permitted?"
No cameras at all. I was speaking to one of the cops at the Library yesterday and he said absolutely no cameras.

The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic will try to act as a welcoming committee and clearing house of information for FReepers coming to Washington, D.C. this week to pay tribute to President Reagan.
If you are planning on coming to D.C. from out of town, or from around here, please check in on this thread during the week. We'll try to coordinate meetings points for those who desire to gather with fellow FReepers.
Offical schedule in D.C. according to the AP:
5 p.m. Wednesday: Coffin arrives at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington.
6 p.m.: Formal funeral procession to the Capitol, with coffin transfer onto horse-drawn caisson at 1600 Constitution Ave., an open area near the White House and the Washington Monument.
7 p.m.: State funeral ceremony in Capitol Rotunda.
8:30 p.m.: Lying in state begins in rotunda and continues through the night.
Thursday: Lying in state continues for 24 hours in the rotunda.
10:45 a.m. Friday: Motorcade leaves the Capitol.
11:30 a.m.: National funeral service at the National Cathedral.
1:45 p.m.: Motorcade leaves National Cathedral. Coffin is flown back to California.
The federal government will be closed on Friday. I'm not sure about the local government or what the traffic and parking situation will be that day. Rest assured, however, that security will be tight this week.
It looks like the main things we'll be doing is paying our respects along the procession routes on Wednesday and Friday, and waiting in line at the Capitol to view President Reagan's flag-draped coffin.
Please bring American flags, large posters of President Reagan and signs bearing messages honoring him and his legacy that we can hold on the procession routes.
Feel free to add suggestions and ideas on this thread for tributes and meeting places.
Considering there are people out there with no respect for anyone, not even the dead, I would expect quite a bit of security both there and in D.C.
I'll be trying to get ther sometime this afternoon from Orange County. My wife wants to go late this evening. We'll see who gets their way. I would imagine her.
bttt
What do you think it would be like to go late at night? Will there still be buses? Any FReepers going after traffic dies down?
