I thank God, so much, for the wonderful men he has led into our Presidency thru the ages. Men who have made all the difference, and who, by their very character, expose the weaker, immoral and unethical men who have also held that post.

I love Ronald Reagan. Forever. What a good, good man.

I lost my Mom 3 weeks ago and now President Reagan. These two people were among the most influential people in my life. Their style, courage and dedication to doing right will always live on as an integral part of my self. I feel very alone suddenly but I know they both are looking down on me and expect me to carry on the battle just as they did. Thank you God for their great influence and leadership in my life.

I think back on all the Presidents who have served this country from the day I was born, beginning with Eisenhower. Our country has been blessed, indeed. In fact, there is only one of those Preseidents whom I believe to have done harm to the office and to the country, and that is President Clinton. Not even Carter came close to proving himself to be such a boobish miscreant.

Well. This is about Reagan, I know. But to put things in context, I just wanted to day that we have been well-served by this office by some very special men. Reagan was absolutely top notch.

Now our dear President has also slipped the surly bonds of earth, and is touching the face of God.

I'm sure he's heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant".

The world will sorely miss Ronald Reagan.

BTW, before the warmth has completely left Reagan's body, Dan Rather has seized this opportunity to take a few parting shots at him. Rather seems to think that Iran-Contra is the only legacy worth mentioning today.
