I turned on the TV a minute ago and none of the networks is carrying anything about the funeral (I don't have cable). I guess it was too much to ask of them to show it.
I live in Los Angeles. The local channels are reporting that, although the details have not been released yet, the basic plan goes something like this: President Reagan's body has been taken to a Santa Monica funeral home where it will be prepared for burial. It will then be brought to the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, where it will lie in repose for a day. The public will be invited to view the casket. Then it will be flow to Washington to lie in state in the Capitol rotunda. Then back to California for burial next week. Hope this helps a little.
FNC mentioned that his body was brought to the funeral home to be prepared for burial .. it is presumed that he will then be sent to the Regan library before being flown to DC for 2 days and then back to CA for a burial on Thurday.
