How anyone could vote for Patty "Osama Mama" Murray is beyond me. Claim in public that Osama is loved around the world for building day care centers and you should not get re-elected for God's sake.

Looks like another term for that bastion of intellect, Patty Murray.

How a nitwit like her is a permanent fixture in the Senate will tell you all you want to know about any election results from Washington state. For all sensible people from Washington, I feel your pain. I'm from MA and you can just imagine how I feel about my elected officials, none of whom I have voted for.

Interesting that the Prez is still competitive in this state. And I firmly believe that Nethercutt has a chance. Already, Murray is under 50%. But we'll see.

I suspect two things:

1. The presidential race numbers are about right. Kerry probably leads in Washington right not...but not by all that much
2. Murray may well be pretty far ahead, but it is quite early in the race...it will tighten in the months ahead

Of course, I could be completely wrong.
