Only problem with that theory is that there is ZERO post-crash forensics that supports that possibility. Next you'll be telling us that TWA 800 wasn't brought down by a shoulder fired SAM from a speedboat out in Long Island Sound.

Three mature, sober, productive people whom I have known for decades (one a retired FDNY) were eye-witnesses to TWA 800. They all saw the same thing at the same time from the same location. A streak of light up then an explosion. They told this to the FBI then heard nothing. I think I'll take their word for it over yours.
btw...the LI Sound is no where near the Flt 800 site.
