I drank too much tea and had to go to the bathroom.
What did I miss?

I invite Algore to have a speech like this every week. He should continue to screech for the resignation of Bush officials that polls show 70% of the American people don't think should resign. He should continue to spew forth nonsense about widespread prison abuses that never occurred. He should ratchet up the rhetoric -- Algore should continuously scream "He BETRAYED this COUNTRY! HE PRAYED ON OUR FEARS!" until everyone has heard it. And please let Hillary!, Ted Kennedy and KKK-Byrd join in the fun! Some already have.
It will backfire. It will energize the conservative base and alienate moderates, who don't appreciate piling on. This may be the Dems' Wellstone moment of the 2004 campaign. If Kerry joins in the chorus and the media reports it, it will be.

To echo a poster above:
Heavenly Father, we humbly thank you for saving us from this train-wreck of a human being...
I am starting my morning full of gratitude after reading this post. Right now, the Goron is a comic-book character. He could have been President.
*shudder*

Best line about Algore's rant,
When asked to comment on his behavior, Charles Krauthammer (on the FoxNews panel said):
"It looks like he's off his lithium again."
And who better to know, Krauthammer is a Harvard educated Psychiatrist, LOL!!!

Everyone thought that we'd heard the last of him when he backed Dean and Dean jumped the shark in Iowa. I guess Al was envious and wanted to jump the shark himself.
As an actual political player, this will probably be the last time he's taken seriously. I don't mean by us (the right) we gave up on him long ago. I mean by the parts of the Democratic party that are interested in potentially winning an election again.
From now on, the only people who will take Al Gore seriously are aging hippies, college freshmen, (and the most liberal of their teachers) and tree sitting tie dyed sandal wearing freaks.
It was a shameless display, and America is going to give up on him for it. Personally I think we should beat him to the punch and put him on suicide watch right now.

I've been thinking lately that it's beginning to look more and more like God DID appoint GW President. The 2000 election can only be explained as God's mercy.

There were five attacks on America by the terrorist enemy on Gores watch, . . . all of which went unansweredBears repeating.
Thank you, LORD, for protecting us from a gore presidency!

Gore overlooks one vital fact: the Geneva Convention does not protect terrorists; it applies only to captured military personnel.
Good logic by author, I havn't seen this before.

Gore should be in jail, but he probably invented that.

Al Gore was so close to the Presidency, a prize he coveted all his life. To get so close and lose, obviously drove him mad. Too funny - and proof positive that he would have been a disaster as POTUS.

In this moment of national peril, Al Gore is not serving his country or his fellow Americans well. Wrong ending to a fine article. It should have been, "We gave you raving lunatics the facts and the documentation (again!). You've been ranting and raving against the United States for decades now you can jump up and kiss our asses."
