Don't know if there has been anything posted on this site so I figured I would post this link. It was started by a future freeper in highschool to send a million thank yous to the American troops stationed around the world. All you have to do to help is write a letter thanking the troops for protecting our country in this war on terrorism.

John Michael Montgomery and Nascar are supporting this cause. Here is a little from the site.
Our Mission To show our U.S. Military Men and Women, past and present, our appreciation for their sacrifices, dedication, and service to our country through our letters, cards, prayer and thoughts.
Our Goal
To collect and distribute 1,000,000 LETTERS, CARDS, & EMAILS OF APPRECIATION TO OUR MILITARY MEN & WOMEN, PAST AND PRESENT.
I belive You have the NASCAR thread this week, might want to add this link to it.

Thank you! Forwarded to my email list and am going to have family ready to sign cards at the Memorial Day Weekend get together.
Thank you again!
Bump!
big vet bump here and will get the web site address spread around liberally. (about the only thing I do liberally.) :)
Thanks for the ping!
I saw this promoted on another website. I wrote a small email with thanks, prayers and blessings, and started to send it to some of the warships on the email dropdown list. Then I thought, why not to all the warships? So I sat and did all the warships on that email page and there sure were a lot of them. It did take a long time but it was worth it.
Was I ever surprised to receive emails back from people on three of those ships with their return thanks for being appreciated. I was so honored to get these emails, and I've been praying specially for these emailers and their ships every night since.
