Are Catholics in the habit of kneeling or bowing before statues of Mary?
In the habit is not the same as dogma. I'm in the habit of eating cornflakes for breakfast -- many Catholics do. Is THAT a church teaching? Thou shalt eat cornflakes for breakfast?
Can you give me one example in the Bible of a person praying to anyone but God?
No. And No Catholic prays to anyone but God. They may ask friends to pray with them or for them

Not true, my friend. A prayer is a request, and the very first miracle performed by Jesus was because somebody prayed to Mary instead of Him, even though He was right there in the room to pray to.

So are you saying that you disagree with the "habit"?
