That's all Drudge has right now. I hope Drudge gets the video and shows it, since the alphabet networks won't.

Pot calling kettle black alert - see Kerry takes a spill from bike USA Today article. What a short memory - did Kerry also have a training wheel problem?

Three thoughts on the Kerry comment:

(1) It is a rather juvenile commment for a Presidential candidate. Does Kerry lack gravitas?

(2) Has Mr. Kerry fogotten his own recent bike spill. Does the pot call the kettle "black"? At least Bush was off-road on a mountain bike when he fell. As I recall, Kerry fell when he encountered some sand on the road.

(3) Since the comment makes Kerry look snide and immature, the mainstream press will ignore it.

Seeing as he himself fell off a bike not too long ago, he's in no position to talk. Especially since he fell when he supposedly "hit a patch of sand" riding a racing bike on pavement. Bush fell while mountain biking on rough terrain.
I want to see the pics of Kerry's tumble.

I'll bet George didn't blame it on secret service and proceed to call them an SOB.

It's good for political candidates to be honest.

Kerry is an upper-class (parvenu, but still upper class) leftist who looks down his nose at Bush and his followers.

He probably doesn't hate him, but he probably is contemptuous of him.

Why shouldn't the people who are going to vote know that?

He's a bet that will get no takers:

Suppose W's tumble was caused by bumping into a Secret Service agent. I'd wager W's first words would be "You OK son?"

If questioned by the press about the fall W would laugh it off.

Voters will tolerate a great deal, but when it comes to the presidency, being an *sshole isn't tolerable... at least for the vast silent majority.

It was a normal day on the bike path until the President rounded a corner and saw Helen Thomas roll in front of him. While she blended well with the craggy rocks and cactus, the movement startled him. He took the high road and fell off his bike rather than injure himself more severly by absorption into the cravasses of the wrinkled reporterette.

Is this the same John Kerry who fell off his bike just after running over a Secret Service agent with a snowboard and calling him names?

I have no problem with someone making a joke about another person's fall off a bike, as long as the person making the joke points out his own shortcomings in the same area. Afterall, Kerry just had surgery on his shoulder for a fall from a bike a few years ago, and then, fell while snowboarding and again biking. Who's the klutz John? And did you go 16 miles of a 17 mile bike trek before you fell?

I think this will be big by Monday. Someone will run with it and Kerry will lose a lot due to it.

The media has to show it, or else Fox will scoop it and they can't bear that.

Hypothetically, let's for a moment assume there were 'training wheels'.

At least Dubya could pay for them HIMSELF! He wouldn't have to go to his woman for the money!
