The deliveryman is better off not working for a company that would never stand behind him. A company that willingly puts its employees at mortal risk for profit is no good employer. PepsiCo proves that it deserves neither the consumers money, nor the consumers loyalty.

I don't know. Maybe Pizza Hut does not think is a good idea if my customers get the idea that the guy knocking on their door is also armed. Some families may want to order their pizza elsewhere.

If your customers have to worry about your employees,(for any reason) I'd wager they'd be getting their pizzas elsewhere, anyway.
