I would LOVE for some people on this thread to teach a class for a week or two.

They would never make it.
I have a ton of respect for teachers. Their Union sucks.
I was a mainstay in my daughter's kindergarten class. The teacher came back from a C-section to a room of 19 kids, nine being problems. She actually was a miracle worker in the room and most of the kids learned, but I wanted to make her life as easy as possible to make it through.
I know what kind of snotty, belligerent kids teachers are up against. The kind that ALWAYS give you an argument. One boy was told to sit by me on the playground. He sat kicking my ankle and literally had to be carried to the office.
I have the utmost respect for the teaching profession and the hand tying that the schools do for discipline. That's why I homeschool.
