If you want a serious answer...
The international covers of MM's books display him with lots and lots of American flags/symbols... Stupid Fat White Man et al don't have American symbols on it.
MM makes waaaaaaay more off international sales than domestic sales. He sold something like 3 times more copies of his lastest book in Germany alone than in the USA.
Why do the international publishers insist on wrapping him around American flags?
Because they WANT to associate Michael Moore with the typical American--ugly, fat, sloppy, brash, crude, loud. They're saying, "Look, this is Michael Moore, the typical American, telling you what America REALLY is about!"
So, his ugliness does sell books overseas. Somehow I don't see him selling nearly as many bash-America books if he looked like Brad Pitt.
I feel almost sorry for him.
Sorry, that should be the DOMESTIC covers of his books don't have any American symbols in it! The International covers of his books have more USA flags/symbols than a 4th of July party!
:O You're really smart. I never thought of that.
