I mis-read - they were injured, not killed. The soldiers that were killed was a separate incident.

Unfrigginbelievable!

General Kimmitt was just on FOX announcing the artillary round IED found with Sarin gas. Gen. Kimmitt asked reporters if there were any questions.

Stinking media idiot reporter asks him "When were the pictures at Abu Ghraib prison taken??"

This is torture

Javaid was a university student reading commerce. He had been returning to his grandfather’s house after a visit to an aunt when he was abducted. The injuries Javaid sustained could hardly be more horrific. He was given electric shocks repeatedly to various parts of his body including his ears, which damaged his hearing. His right arm and fingers were fractured and his nails were pulled out. His feet were swollen from beating and he suffered contusions and lacerations all over his body. He received many internal injuries, and besides the two failed kidneys the doctors’ report notes that he passed blood or pus instead of urine. In many places his skin appeared blackened and oozed pus and he could barely move.

Funny how there are no WMD in Iraq....

And that won't derail reporters from the most important story anyway, Vel.

I think the stock market crash in India is related to the results of their election.

A change of gov't has occurred. Another Ghandi that will most likely be assasinated.

I'd venture to guess he's (Kay) on the pay-off list for UN oil for food scandal.

Sarin Nerve Gas Round Found, Partly Detonated in Iraq (Update1)
May 17 (Bloomberg) -- A small shell containing Sarin nerve gas was discovered and partly detonated in Iraq today, U.S. Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt said during a briefing televised from Baghdad.

The 155-millimeter round, which was rigged as an improvised explosive device, was found by a U.S. convoy and detonated before it could be rendered inoperable, producing a very small amount of nerve gas, Kimmitt said. Two members of the ordnance team were treated for minor exposure to the nerve agent, he said.

The shell was an older round with two compartments containing two chemical components that need to be mixed before the agent is produced, Kimmitt said. It was designed to work after being fired from an artillery cannon and the ability to mix and distribute the gas from an improvised explosive device is ``very limited,'' Kimmitt said.

Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's regime declared all of its Sarin nerve gas rounds destroyed before the 1991 Gulf War, Kimmitt said. Kimmitt said it was the first Sarin shell the U.S. military has found.

The words simply describe the image; the image is self-explanatory. This popped up this morning on the forums LOL.

So I wonder how Kay would explain the fact that this was an IED, and rigged to explode, just lying on the side of the road for 13 years.

And nothing, not once, along the road caused it to go off.

Is that possible? Seems unlikely to me.
