This is the most desperate attempt ever mounted to recover from the totally self-destructive impact of the videotaped hacking murder of Nick Berg. But some absolutely improbable thread of logic is at work here. This is much like the assertion that the WTC events of September 11, 2001, were planned and executed by members of the Israeli Mossad.
Where this flies in the face of all reason is the question, Why? It was not in the interests of the US to execute Nick Berg, and certainly not by the brutal method demonstrated. That was the independently chosen option of the masked murderers standing behind Berg. If a simple execution had been what the thugs wanted, a 9mm slug at close range in the forehead would have been all that was necessary.
This was a terror killing. Screw with us, was the implication, and we will come and kill each and every one of you, one by one, until you are all gone.
But apparently these guys are not very good at calculating odds. There are some five billion human beings on this planet, and only five of them. Public opinion, at least among the part of the public that is aware of this atrocity, is overwhelmingly against them.
I would not rate their chances of finding an impartial jury anywhere.

WHY? would anyone Scream...."NO" instead of Calling out for GOD, MOM, for Mercy, or Help?

Mr. Berg was extraordinarily CALM as he sat in the white plastic chair and on the floor, his voice didn't waver as he spoke the names of his family; also he was Not Crying or Protesting.
I don't think that he (Mr. Berg) Believed that he was going to be Murdered right there and then, he was Shocked.
A lot of things just do Not add up with this gruesome episode.
I do NOT Believe that he was harmed or killed by US forces, the story reaks of al queda and Islama-Nazi Terrorists.
Maybe, in time we will be able to know what was really going on.
