I am from Superior and worked there and at San Manuel but we always loved Tucson. We got our Sunday clothes at Jacome's or Steinfelds (sp?), would eat at G&M (Mecha's now), Me Neditos, L&L, Santa Fe or Little Abner's. I can't remember the dance club's name on Miricle Mile but Jimmy Vindola from Douglas played great Latin Jazz. Other restraunts were Ye Olde Lantern, La Fuente and Northwoods. We miss it and don't think Oregon, where we are now matches up. I would love to walk into La Jolla to have a beer and see if anyone killed me again. LOL

We love it here. I came out from the Midwest to go to the U of A. After we married we moved back to Milwaukee for a bit but returned here to Tucson in '98 for good.

(Remember Little Abner's was in the middle of nowhere? Not anymore! I just said to my husband I want to go to Ye Olde Lantern soon)
