The "wait, we're not finished yet" cartoon is an absolute *classic*. It sums up the situation perfectly.
And this is the second time I've seen a cartoon by the usually left-leaning Daryl Cagle (last cartoon) which departs sharply from the left's talking points. It looks as if yet another liberal is seeing the light.

& I'm sure that they're still not finished yet...drip, drip, drip. Re Cagle, I'm surprised too, but doubt he's changing stripes.

It looks as if yet another liberal is seeing the light. HA! That only happens when they die and head towards the Great White Light, and find out they're REALLY screwed...

Thanks for the ping, SLB. Political cartoons can really cut to the heart of the matter, can't they?
This one is my favorite:
The other day I came to realize a bit of irony with our current state of affairs: The leftmedia and their masters in the Democrat-Marxist party have been carping endlessly about how "Iraq is another Vietnam". Which is a lie, and they know it, except in one very profound regard: The same America-hating "journalists" and "elected officials", that very same breed of Enemies Domestic that eroded American resolve in the 60s is indeed back full force, trying for an encore. To that extent, yes, these conflicts now do indeed appear identical.
A self-fulfilling prophecy, therefore, and one that I don't think that the perpetrators themselves realize. Note them well; there will be a test later.
Stay well, gents,

Some sanity in the media. That's nice.
I'm feeling isolated and powerless these days, hearing Kennedy, Couric, Leahy, Kerry saying such infuriating, outrageous, treasonous things -- unchallenged.
