Thought I would chime in, having read the entire thread this morning. Something else is going on that's fishy. Dan Senor was interviewed on Fox this morning and Steve asked about the e-mail from the consulate representative. Senor had just finished saying that Berg was NOT in US custody, but was held by the Iraq police. The e-mail says the consulate representative ascertained that he was being held by the military.

Senor didn't look embarassed, but rather said they were trying to determine the reason for the....confusion. I got the distinct impression that there is something bogus about that e-mail, but have no TV today (babysitting) and haven't followed the news on Fox since early this morning.

I have spent about two hours on this thread between helping my wife with a family emergency back in the midwest.

The aroma of bad stuff keep waifing in. The trolls on FR keep trying to say nothing is happening, just move on like on past threads where their buddies with Islamofascists were being exposed.

I read something on this earlier today but can't remember where. What I remember reading went something like this. The consulate representative (female) had mistakenly said the military was holding him. By the time she got the correct info that it was not the US Military holding Nick Berg, he was out of the custody of the Iraqi soldiers and supposedly on his merry way. So therefore she didn't send another e-mail to correct her mistake as to who was holding him.
