The Iraqi police don't have access to our files on who was questioned re 911 etc. You can bet on that. That's why it's so strange that the Gov't says they were never holding him. I just don't buy it.

In my personal opinion, he was possibly setting up evesdropping components on Iraqi communications networks. If so I would think it was being done for a foreign government. You can be sure that our guys are all over the telecom equipment with evesdropping technologies too. The NSA is said to have a tap on all communications coming in from overseas.
