I have been feeling exactly like you. I'm more disgusted by my own countrymen than the terrorists. Never thought that would happen..but there ya go.

For my own mental health I have turned off the TV the last few days. I always keep it on and tuned to FOX. I have just had enough and need some time to catch my breath and "smell the roses".

I feel like we're moving through an inevitable prelude to total war, a fatal period when half the population clings dangerously to denial until severe lessons are learned. And yet, disturbingly, 911 was apparently not that day. Will it take something unspeakably worse? Sounds gloomy, but who would have believed years ago the moral fog that appears to exist today even though thousands were slaughtered right here at home?
