Liberal Democrats and the Left-Wing Media are Responsible for Nick Berg's Death-They Must Apologize

Liberal Democrats and the Left-Wing Media are Responsible for Nick Berg's Death -- and Should Apologize

In their quasi-religious zeal to tar the Bush administration for mere political gain, the media outlets that released and hyped photos of the prisoner "abuse," and the liberal Democrat politicians who heinously fed the frenzy, are directly responsible for the beheading of Nick Berg.  This is what happens when liberal zealots irresponsibly put politics above reason, logic, and humanity.

All reports on the gruesome beheading aver that the killing was "vengeance" for the Iraqi prison "abuse."  And, of course, the killers who executed this atrocity are directly blameworthy as well.  However, if certain liberal politicians and left-wing media leaders had let the prison problems play themselves out through the proper channels (the military legal system), which was already happening, instead of seizing on this as a political issue and manufacturing a "scandal,"  Mr. Berg would probably be alive today.  This is disgraceful and shameful -- and inexcusable.

Will they apologize for being the "but for" cause of Mr. Berg's death?  Probably not.  Probably never.  They will demand apologies from the President and members of his cabinet right and left, on highly questionable grounds and merits, but when they commit a blatant and inexcusable wrong like this themselves, the same grovel-merchants will never admit their own sins -- no less apologize for them.

These people have no soul and no feeling; they crave power, and they will do anything to get it... even if it means the beheading of our own citizens.  There is no price these people will not pay to satiate their megalomania.  John Kerry has sunk so low as to use the prison issue in a fund raising letter.  These people are horrid, power-hungry wretches.

And they will never apologize -- nor will they hold the "religion of peace" responsible for the few monsters they have spawned.

Sent email to CBS earlier

CBS,

Hope the ratings for your news program 60 Minutes was worth the torture and execution of this innocent contractor, because it is going to cost you. From this point forward, I will never watch ANY program on CBS ever again .. and will soon be sending emails to your main sponsors.

GOODBYE SURVIVOR !
GOODBYE CSI !
GOODBYE MISSING WITHOUT A TRACE !
GOODBYE EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND !

Since I will no longer be viewing your programming. Let me leave you with some suggestions for next years schedule.

Perhaps a SURVIVOR series featuring captured contractors being held by Muslim radicals in Iraq. Every week the hostages can select one member for beheading. I know this will mean canceling the planned SURVIVOR - Abu Ghraib, but given recent events ..it might be in good taste not to flame hatred against Americans.

MISSING WITHOUT A TRACE has many potential storylines. You could portray numerous stories investigating the 100,000 or so dead people butchered under Saddam Hussein. This could even lead into a CSI episode. Once the bodies are found, they could explore how they died in those mass graves while under United Nations supervision.

EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND ! Except in this episode, there is a twist. Raymond is in Iraq and Muslim fanatics want to kill him. An unknown news station (insinuate Fox News) has released torture photos during "sweeps week" and inflamed hatred against all-things American (Be sure to omit all references to ongoing internal investigation by the military as this might make audience question why photos are being released to public .. especially during time of war). Raymond is then captured .. tortured .. and executed in a grisly death that forces his young twin sons to vow revenge against the men responsible - George Bush and Donald Rumsfield.

Of course all of this could be forgotten if the head of CBS would give a public apology to Nick Berg and any future soldiers / contractors killed due to your broadcasts. CBS should also make a sizable donation to the grieving families - at least match what Saddam used to give to the families of suicide bombers.

thank you for posting this. I've thought it all day long, and wished the republicans would speak it aloud. If the media hadn't jumped on the chance to show American military in a bad light, if they hadn't rushed to publish the pictures, and lept immediately to the "get Rumsfeld" conclusion, these murderers wouldn't have had a justification for what they were obviously, going to do anyway.

This is a sad opportunity for the Bush folks to point out the consequences of the irresponsible conduct of the media and the liberals. This is a major black-eye for those two groups, and the GOP better get on the horn and start pointing it out now. Doing so immediately will SAVE lives.

Liberal Democrats and the Left-Wing Media are
Responsible for Nick Berg's Death-They Must Apologize

My rant earlier today, regarding apologies.

< Meek Soapbox >

I saw Robert Byrd's face on FOX News a short while ago. I had the volume turned down low, so couldn't hear what he had to say during this *yet another DemocRAT* Congressional Investigation of the Bush Administration (The Iraqi Prisoner Abuse cra*). I don't have to hear it to know he probably was saying something hateful, as always when the camera is on him.

I wish that I lived in Byrd's voting district (I actually don't wish that - *shudder*) only so I could vote AGAINST him and send him correspondence he would (SHOULD) have to answer. I would ask him, "When are you going to apologize, Senator Byrd?" Apologize to the country for your *service* in the KKK ..... apologize to the country for your use of the word ni**er, as recently as just a few years ago, etc. Since you and your lapdog media are REAL BIG on apologies here lately, the next time you get "face time" on national TV, please apologize for this, eh, Senator Byrd !?!

In fact, I may just send him my note anyway. If EVERY TIME he spewed his HATE on national TV his fax machine and email servers would BURN UP from the reaction, maybe, just maybe, he would shut up. But I doubt it.

My sentiment is similar regarding fat ted kennedy and others, as well.

To sustain an invasion, the country being invaded must be brought to its knees, then rebuilt.

In these politically correct times we invaded Iraq but feared offending the citizens and their Islamic beliefs.

We do not have the guts to do what is needed to defeat the
Islamics and terrorism. It would kill many civilians, a political nightmare for whoever is in charge.

If anyone will take off the partisan glasses and sincerely
tell me they are pleased with the way the war is going I'd
love to hear the reasons.

As soon as Saddam was toppled and captured, we should have
begun planning our exit. A lot of good people would still be alive.

" John Kerry has sunk so low as to use the prison issue in a fund raising letter. "

If past is prologue, Kerry will find a way to use the beheading as a fundraiser. Kerry has shown an abysmal lack of class and gravitas and patriotism.

Tom Jarriel, former ABC reporter has gone off the deep end! He's on MSNBC Norville Show, misrepresenting what Taguba said today. He's claiming this scandal, and ramifications, go all the way from the prison to the White House.

"The sky is falling".......so Jarriel wishes!

General Taguba specifically said his investigation showed no culpability higher than the brigade level, with no orders, written or otherwise, justifying the abuse at the prison.

In case anyone missed it, the General also said all the pictures taken in the prison, were taken on personally owned cameras. In other words, we're to believe that the ARmy ordered soldiers to pose soldiers in humiliating positions and take pictures of them, but didn't provide them army issue cameras.

Give me a break!

Would expect something to come out about this -- I was afraid this was going to happen when they started publishing those pictures and had them on 24/7. Every news outlet that kept them out in public should get a black eye for not thinking about the consequences and how they were inflaming the situation with the arabs. Most don't care as they would rather bash and u ndermine Pres Bush!

What good will apologizing do?

I was raised to believe that one only apologized for actions that one was truly sorry one did.

Even anyone with the intelligence of a democrat voter knows that the liberal democrats and their lapdog republicans along with the main stream media are not the least bit sorry that they caused someone to lose their life.

The democrats and main stream media are sorry for one thing: That George W. Bush is President.

Their one and only goal is to get George W. Bush out ogf the White House.

To accomplish this goal that are perfectly to do anything.

They do not care how much blood that they cause to be shed. They are perfectly contend to see the United States of America devastated if it will get the democrats back in political power.

So true, it is scary, actually frightening to see how many people are so misinformed. CBS is guilty of the death of this man, yet no-one above the rank of private(so to speak) will say so. I really hope I am wrong. Seems that the only thing that will save us is for more people to wake up, from the left wing media induced slumber.
