Bush made a big mistake starting with Iraq; he should have started with Saudi Arabia - our biggest enemy.

Because of 16 previous UN resolutions against Saddam, and Saddam's 12 years of ignoring them, regime change in Iraq was, believe it or not, the path of least resistence. Our difficulty at winning the peace in Iraq, and the glee from Democrats and Europeans at every obstacle to achieving success of US policy in Iraq and the wider war on terror, have inhibited our ability to go after other bad actors like Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.

Please forgive me for the interruption and for the typeface, but we need all FReepers, their friends, lovers, enemies, relatives, spouses, exes, acquaintances, strangers, debtors, creditors, colleagues, bosses and subordinates to sign The Federalist's petition to save Don Rumsfeld!

Thank you!

RUMMY Petition

We now return to the regularly scheduled thread.

How many American citizens are lobbyists for foreign governments?

Shouldn't that be illegal?

Uh ph123, this was posted 2 months ago on FR.

You, IMO, with your lack of a link have shown that you are a fraud.

The Saudi War on George Bush

Oh BTW, I agree with the writers premise, as you will see if you hit the above link.

But what the hey it seems you wish to follow liberal media tactics.

Unfortunately, lots of big names, ex-Senators, and cabinet members are all on the take.

Uh no, but one would think, that you as a "true(faux) conservative" would provide a link and post the correct publication date.

Regretably, Bush could not rationally have attacked the Saudi problem until he took Iraq. There would be too much risk of sabotage to their oil fields, so we needed to secure another source first.

This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the pathological liars in the liberal press and the Democrats, who make it very hard for Bush to run the War on Terror in a rational way. As it is, we probably can't afford to tackle the Saudis until after the election. And of course they know it, so they will do their best to see that Bush isn't re-elected. Kerry they can deal with. Or Hildabeast.

Saudi Arabias biggest real enemy is Alternative Fuel. If all the money wasted on "bringing freedom" to worthless Iraqi scum were instead spent on Fuel Cell technology, the Saudi Royal Dirtbags would be forced to trade their Benz's for camels.

Please forgive my "true(faux) conservative" mistake. First I am not an expert in the computer world, second, I was thinking it was a comprehensive article that showed a detailed info of the Saudis work behind the scenes. You can read it and comment on it, or shut the f- up, and go to next thread. What is the big deal. Seek therapy!

Huh, first you posted this article on FR. Oh I forgot you are a self described computer retard.

second, I was thinking it was a comprehensive article that showed a detailed info of the Saudis work behind the scenes.

And it was posted two months ago, are you that mentally challenged, not to use the search engine, and type the name of the article "The Saudi War on Geroge Bush" in the search engine.

I was privileged to testify in the US congress on behalf of Fuel Cell technology during the first Reagan administration. Reagan awarded my team $16 million dollars to fund R&D on that subject that year, and then the price of oil went down to $12, from $40! Detroit started to make big cars, and the whole country lost focus, and still unfocused!

We call France derogatory names, but they have 72% of their power from safe nuclear plants, simply because nationally, they made strategic plan, and they followed it, one administration, after the other. Right wing or left wing, France the nation comes first. Our politicians are so influenced by partisanship, and lobbyists. It is embarrassing.

Bush couldn't do that. Given the Saudi's oil production, attacking them would have meant a longer recovery, assuming the oil traders didn't drive prices into the stratosphere and plunge the world into a depression. Worldwide reactions would have been much more extreme compared to the P&M we saw with Iraq.

Ergo we punch out Iraq as an object lesson to all comers.

Well at least one positive lesson can be drawn-- threaten the Saudis with Fuel Cells, or the Soviets with Star Wars, and they start to see things our way.

Unfortunately the Rush Limbaugh Monster Truck crowd scoffs at alternative fuels, as if it were only for granola crunching tree huggers in comfortable shoes. Conservatives have tagged the issue as "liberal", probably because of some important Republican party members interest in selling oil.

Personally I see alternative fuel as a weapon to force the Saudi backed moslem extremist freaks into remission.

My friend that is the difference between real EDUCATED Republican, and a foaming at the mouth robot who listen blindly to Rush, Hannity, and Fox! I do listen to all these sources of information, and do agree with most of what they say, but lots of times they talk like ignorant, and I tune them off. One big issue recently is their defense of the trailer trash soldiers in Abou Ghareib prison in Iraq. Despite of the fact that the President, Rumsfeld, and all the government are upset at such uncivilized actions, some idiots on this board are still defending that action as not torture. Moslem fanatics are uncivilized bastards, and may do and or support such actions, but Americans should be above that.

Sure, then you have the environment politicized as a "liberal" issue. Global warming? That's for democrats! Deforestation? Only liberals believe that! After all, Rush keeps saying there's more forest land in the USA now than when Columbus arrived. Yeah, hell with science.
