Jesse Jackson: 7500 AK47s intercepted off the coast of Vermont
C-Span2 ^ | May 9, 2004 | Jesse Jackson

C-Span2 was covering yesterday's MMM ralley, this morning.

Turnout was pathetic, speakers were typical.

Jesse Jackson took the stage to close out the presentation and to begin the march.

He told the crowd that just last week we had intercepted 7500 AK47s off the coast of Vermont.

Fascinating...

Not quibbling here
(Smiling) OK, I'll not "quibble" either. Try and buy one manufactured or imported after 1987. They are banned for civillian purchase period. Much like the so called "assault weapons" are "banned" if manufactured after the bills enactment date.
Maybe I could have been more technically accurate by saying "Fully automatic firearms manufactured or imported after 1987 are banned for civilian purchase".
(Still smiling)
