Charter Arms Bulldog Pug in 44 special. Lightweight, 44 caliber ,not a magnum, much lower recoil. Very good everyday carry rig. Cheap and reliable and very accurate with CCI blazer ammunition in the 200 grain Gold Dot Hollow Point version.
My Girl Friday , My Sister and My 70 year old Mom has one and they have no trouble with the recoil. Give one a try before ya buy ! I think you'll like it.

I'm thinking more along the lines of some kind of shotgun. lol I have no depth perception, none. If someone is close enough for me to hit them, they're most likely close enough to wrestle any single projectile weapon away from me.
