What was happening in Iraq at the time was the seige at Fallujah. The seige was called off at the time of the airing of the 60 Minutes II report.
How much that fact will cost US forces remains to be seen.

It seems like former drunk Dayton has picked up on the democrats' latest technique for badgering witnesses: ask a long, tendentious "when did you quit beating your wife question," and then cut them off before they can answer with a complaint that the witness is "filibustering" or "using up my time." Gen. Myers simply said "I will take all the time it needs to respond to your question."
