Major Garrett just said that the hearings were much more docile than expected. The rats looked at the polls which show most Americans support Rummy.

Kerry wanted the dems to lay low on Rummy because he's afraid this will bring back Kerry's Vietnam shenanigans

That was docile? From the clips I have seen, they behaved terribly. They ought not suggest that Rummy should resign. They ought not to suggest that this is systemic. they ought not suggest that thiscountry has lost it's moral authority.
I think they have been vicous partisans indifferent to the welfare of the troops, the outcome of the war and the nation's image.
They have been outrageous and opportunistic to the detriment of our national interest and they should not be credited by hacks like Major Garrett for their restraint or docility.

"The rats looked at the polls which show most Americans support Rummy."
Do you think it had anything to do with the article posted earlier today that Kerry had called all the Dems on these committees and asked them to go easy today because he's afraid it will bring more of a focus on his Vietnam crimes allegations?
