Someone made a great point on Rush's show. As she pointed out, Eason Jordan and CNN made an intentional decision to not tell and "show" the world the brutality of Saddam's sadistic abuses because it would endanger them and their Iraqi counterparts working in the Baghdad bureau. In other words, the media does and has censored itself when they think it may endanger the lives of others. So why has the media not given the same deference to these soldiers...and other Americans, serving everywhere in the world? Obviously...it's all about politics.

If this were any other criminal case, this case would now probably be thrown out of court. Not only has someone illegally released evidence to the public of this crime, they are now tainting the so-called jury pool. Can there be any doubt that these defendants are going to be hung out to dry?

While I don't have a problem with these people held accountable for their atrocious acts...what the media and the congress has done with these hearings, is practically guarantee an unfair trial for these people. The "politicians" are out for blood to prove their self-righteous indignation...and in the process, they have not only endangered this investigation, they have tarred everyone in the process.

While these punks deserve what they get...they will probably get a lot more thanks to this lynch-mob mentallity...and our efforts to prove to the world we are so much better than this. A good lawyer could probably almost get this case thrown out because of the acts being committed by some of these so-called prosecutors.
