Frist could have come off looking really good, if he had courtesously declined to speak. What a jerk!

Senator Dayton needs to be bitch slapped Consider it done-by Rummy! He was not about to let him get away with the suppression insinuation.
To: kcvl
Even with Myers setting the record straight that he and his office contacted CBS to ask them to not air the pictures--it was not asking to "suppress the story"--Dayton accuses THE PRESIDENT of suppressing the news.
Rumsfeld interrupts to say the entire history of this country indicates the military and such has always asked the media to hold onto certain information for the good of our national security. There was no "suppression" of anything as the story was briefed by Centcomm.
NBC and CBS left coverage a bit ago--I'll estimate about 5 minutes ago so that disgraceful Dayton was not given wide distribution. Perhaps he can complain that he was "suppressed".

Dem Intel Committee Memo Reveals Anti-Bush Plot A memo circulated among Democrats on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence shows the committee's minority plotting to use classified information against the White House in next year's presidential campaign. I'm been thinking of that memo for days now
