I haven't read this thread since about post 100. I have watched BOTH interviews, which were shown on Fox. The president did not apologize, but expressed his abhorrence at this activity and pledged that unlike the Iraqi torturers, these people would be brought to justice, and the whole world would know the truth.
Did anyone else watch the interviews?

I didn't see the interviews because I'm at work.
He should have said "naked? They weren't naked? They were wearing hoods."

I haven't seen it but, from your post, it sounds like he did exactly the right thing. We have nothing to apologize for. We fight evil people, regardless of who they are. That's the message.

This is just the typical knee-jerk reaction of the usual suspects, it seems. They read what the media SAYS the President will say and even when he doesn't say it, they act as if he did. It's disgraceful.
