Moveon.org has a new anti-Bush Ad which is being shown in atleast a dozen states on cable TV channels. It starts with a voiceover describing Kerry volunteering for Vietnam, then a clip from Kerry's Vietnam "home movie", and a recent shot of Kerry speaking. The voiceover narrates Kerry's exploits on the Mekong Delta.
Then it cuts to another scene showing Bush as a privileged son, an old clip with a man resembling Bush kicking his heels on a field, and when the voiceover says the words "did not show up for a physical", it shows a nurse peeking out of a hospital room.
It is quite a hard hitting ad and makes the AWOL charge without actually saying those words.

quite a hard hitting ad
it was really lame, to the point of being funny. I am surprised by how bad these moveon ads have been.

We are supposed to listen to kerry's(not capitolised on purpose) demands about questions of anyones military service when documented pictures of him in the early seventies after his Viet Nam service indicate his utter disdain for the military by the improper wear of his uniform(awards placed on utility uniforms and improper hair length while in uniform)?
After all he(kerry) said and done after he returned from service including the improper uniform wear, are we supposed to really trust him at all about his prospects as a potential Commander in Chief?
After kerry's actions, post service, why should we even take his questions about anyones service seriously?

I saw the ad last night. Mt wife thought it was ineffective, but I thought it was somewhat well done, although I despise the content. Basically I think it's another Rorschach test: If you like Bush, the content will just roll off you, if you don't like him, it will reinforce what you already think. On balance, not very effective because I don't see where it will change any minds or enlighten anyone.

I say let them keep blowing their money on J F'ng Kerry's Vietnam record, while telling us that it isn't an issue.

Great add, Bush couldn't ask for better. Everytime the lib's attack Bush on military they increase his ratings and decrease Kerry's. They never get it.
Reminding people that the war on terror is important which this does just causes people to believe that its the most important issue and a GOP'er (especially Bush) is the guy to have when at war.

The ad will backfire! John Kerry went on to be a traitor! GW Bush went on to be an effective war President. Big difference!

It ought to be taken one step further, showing where the candidates were after Vietnam and who they were keeping company with....

moveon.org just looks silly. And sillier. But give them credit for being able to dumb-down their candidate.

Hmmmmm...
Time for another donation to the Bush campaign.

I can't understand how shallow and petty the Democrats have become........and blind too.
They seem to be the "don't get it" challenged party.
Who has been president for the past 39 months?
Bush's Presidency trumps Kerry's service in Vietnam.
Kerry is small potatoes compared to the service of George W. Bush.
Bush qualifies Bush to be president.
Kerry is stuck back in the 1960s.
If Kerry gets to debate the President and brings up the comparison of his military service to the President's, I hope Bush replies with something like...............
"Senator Kerry seems to be stuck back in the 60s.
Looks like he missed that bridge to the 21st century that my predecessor supposedly built!"

"John Kerry went on to be a traitor! GW Bush went on to be an effective war President."
Bennedict Arnold was also a war hero, before he became a traitor. If the DemonRat party had existed they might have nominated him for President.

We should list the channels that air these hate-messages, then boycott them.
