Police Find Counterfeit Visas, Passports (Framington Mass.)

Man Had Several Different Brazilian Licenses, Police Say POSTED: 7:33 am EDT April 30, 2004

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Framingham police said what appeared to be counterfeit passports and visas were found in a car that was pulled over because of a defective taillight, and the driver was arrested and eventually turned over to federal officials.

Claudio Pereira, 31, of Framingham, was arraigned on Thursday in Framingham District Court on charges including operating a vehicle with a suspended license and providing a false name to a police officer. Pereira then was handed over to U.S. State Department personnel......
