I am not even sure what planet or moon is represented in this picture, but the terminator (line between light and dark areas) is straight and near the center which is what you would see due to normal illumination. The shadow that is cast during a partial or total lunar eclipse shows a constanst and higher curvature and can fall nearly anywhere across the surface during the eclipse. See the link in #1311. Hopefully I am making some sense here, but I don't believe the image in the center of Daleel's picture is that of a lunar eclipse. Here is a copy of the only full-size copy that I ever encountered.

This picture just gives me the willies. Everytime I look at it, I see an eye in the middle moon/planet, just left of center.

That pic is the largest copy of those images that I have seen and I noticed -- for the first time -- that there appears to be an American flag (stars and stripes) transposed over the face of the moon.

I can see the Old Glory super-imposed on the planet behind Osama.

I am begining to believe that the 'planet' behind osama is actaully the earth's moon as it would look during the lunar eclipse. Last Total Moon Eclipse The total eclipse of the moon leaves the moon colored orange over the Johannesburg skyline in November 2003. The next total eclipse of the moon is due on May 4.

Look closely at the yellow planet in the upper left corner of the photo. There appears to be a word written in the upper left corner. It doesn't look like english letters. Can you make that out?

The tiny inset picture above the nuke blast looks like the inside of an amusement park ride. The ride it most resembles from my prior experience is the "Inner Space" ride at Disneyland in Anaheim. The little red car would be a "people mover" passing through the building. The round tube was part of the giant microscope eyepiece. The squarish structure was part of the microscope body. The entry to the ride had a vaguely "spaceship" motif.

This might be a hint that Disneyland is a target.

It has been a long time since I last visited the park, so I can't be certain things look like that anymore.
