Re- Mexico declaring a state of alert regarding 59 cases of measles? Does that truly make any sense? When I was growing up, everyone got measles at one time or another. At times, large numbers of children were out of school at the same time. 59 cases seems rather minor.

With massive migration in effect from Mexico into the US, the resurgence of measles here is a real possibility. We've already seen a rise in TB directly attributable to the influx of illegal (and therefore, unscreened)aliens.
