"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"

Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Yes he is, see we do have at least a few we can be proud of. Although he didn't stand out as much as Cuningham yesterday.

Hillary's Secret War

By Jamie Glazov
FrontPageMagazine.com | May 7, 2004

Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Richard Poe, a New York Times bestselling author and cyberjournalist. Formerly the editor of Frontpagemag.com, he is the author of the new book Hillary's Secret War: The Clinton Conspiracy to Muzzle Internet Journalists. Visit his blog at RichardPoe.com.

Frontpage Magazine: Mr. Poe, welcome to Frontpage Interview. It is a pleasure to have you with us.

Poe: Thank you.

FP: So let’s discuss your new book. First things first though: Hillary is out of the White House. Why should we even care about her anymore?

Poe: Well, as we all know, Hillary means to regain the White House, at any cost. I believe she will make her play this year, in 2004. John Kerry is imploding as we speak. He is unelectable. Kerry has too much baggage, too many skeletons in his closet.

Democrat strategists are already quietly discussing a “Torricelli option” – to pull Kerry from the race, just as they pulled Robert Torricelli from the New Jersey Senate race in 2002, replacing him at the last minute with Frank Lautenberg.

If the Democrats “pull a Torricelli” at their National Convention in July – that is, if they force Kerry to withdraw – Hillary will be the obvious frontrunner. I think there’s a strong chance that, when Election Day rolls around, President Bush will face Hillary, not Kerry.

FP: Hillary's Secret War tells us that Hillary personally led a secret police force from her office in the White House. Tell us about your proof and evidence.

Poe: The operations of Hillary’s secret police have been copiously documented, to the point where the topic can hardly be called controversial any longer.

During the Clinton years, journalists who probed too deeply into Clinton scandals ran terrible risks. Journalists were beaten, wiretapped, framed on criminal charges, fired and blacklisted. They experienced burglaries, IRS audits, smear campaigns and White-House-orchestrated lawsuits.

Some may have paid the ultimate price. In February, 1998, just as the Clinton impeachment was gathering steam, Sandy Hume, the 28-year-old son of Fox News anchorman Brit Hume, suddenly turned up dead of a gunshot to the head. He was covering the U.S. Congress for the magazine The Hill, and was known for his excellent sources among Republican insiders. Sandy Hume supposedly committed suicide, but friends and associates have questioned the official story.

Some of the White House “secret police” were private detectives, such as Terry Lenzner, Jack Palladino and Anthony Pellicano. Others were Clinton loyalists embedded in federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies such as the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, the NTSB and so on. Many of these people are still in place, and still doing the Clintons’ dirty work. I call them the Shadow Team.

FP: How does Hillary fit into all this?

Poe: Hillary is the muscle end of the Clinton mafia. It was she who organized and led the Shadow Team. Her role as White House enforcer was first revealed by the late Barbara Olson.

You know I am really starting to worry about this election and hillary. I really think she is going to be there in the end and she has a good shot of winning. Last night on radio 2 women ( missed names)and Albright were on singing hillary's praises. Would vote for her just because she is a women (gag me with a spoon).
The situation is coming together to nicely 49% of the nation voted for Gore, the women's vote, gays and voter fraud she is in.

Something really weird happened there. Art seemed to be pushed out he was on our side. George came in and went to the left, now Art seems to be going left.
It is a kooks show but sometimes Art had some good guess and I like Barbara.
Wish Art would start his own gig.

I think she is waiting for Kerry to implode or she will help him along to that end. I keep wondering what she meant by the "surprise" coming before the election. Did she mean the pictures & 2 foot high report she "knew" about before even Rumsfeld?

She wants to win for payback!

Oregon Man Under Arrest/Spain Bombing Case Update

Spanish police have been intrigued by the possibility of a U.S. connection to the Madrid bombings ever since FBI agents informed them more than three weeks ago that a fingerprint found on a plastic bag of detonators left by the bombers appeared to match Mayfield's.

But senior Spanish law enforcement officials said their own forensics experts remain unconvinced. Fingerprint identification depends on matching a certain number of criteria between prints as well as interpretation of data by experts, investigators said.

"The experts here in Spain ... still have doubts about the fingerprint," the senior Spanish official said.

The FBI believes the print on the bag, which was found in a van abandoned by bombers at the suburban station where they boarded the trains, matches Mayfield's conclusively, according to a U.S. law enforcement official.

"My understanding is it's a bingo match," the U.S. law enforcement official said.

The FBI fingerprint examination was made by an analysis team that may have found Mayfield's print either in a database related to previous terror cases or in his military file, officials said.

The FBI analysts also found indications that whoever left the fingerprint on the bag involved in the Madrid bombings had some connection to the Yugoslav province of Kosovo, where international Islamic extremists have been active.

Mayfield's military background particularly interests Spanish police because they think someone with military experience may have provided training or advice about the assembly of the remote-control backpack bombs used in the attacks, which killed 191 people.

But Spanish police say they have not turned up any sign so far that Mayfield was in Spain during the time the bombings were plotted and carried out, two senior officials said.

Nor have Spanish police found evidence that Mayfield had meetings, phone conversations or Internet communications with any of the two dozen bombing suspects, a predominantly Moroccan group of Islamic extremists with limited ties to Americans or the United States.

"As far as I know, he hasn't been in Spain," a high-ranking Spanish investigator said. "If he traveled under his real name, we would know it. Of course, he could have entered Spain under a false name."

And entering Spain from a neighboring country such as France would leave little trace because Western Europe has few border controls.

In a report prepared more than three weeks ago by Spanish police about the lead involving Mayfield, he was described as a U.S. military veteran who was already under investigation by U.S. authorities for alleged ties to Islamic terrorism.

LaHood: Intelligence panels knew of abuse Jan. 14

U.S. soldier had presented photos of mistreatment to his superior the day before

May 8, 2004

By CLARE JELLICK

PEORIA - U.S. Rep. Ray LaHood said Friday he and other intelligence committee members knew about pictures of Iraqis being abused the day after the military found out.

LaHood said that on Jan. 13, a serviceman gave his superior officer pictures of American soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners in a U.S.-run prison in Baghdad.

"The day after, the House Intelligence Committee and Senate Intelligence Committee were notified of the investigation," he said, adding that the report was confidential.

Still trying to work backwards as to how those pictures were released which may lead to the reason they were taken.

CUMBERLAND, Md., May 7 — Ivan Frederick was distraught. His son, an Army reservist turned prison guard in Iraq, was under investigation earlier this year for mistreating prisoners, and photographs of the abuse were beginning to circulate among soldiers and military investigators.

So the father went to his brother-in-law, William Lawson, who was afraid that reservists like his nephew would end up taking the fall for what he considered command lapses, Mr. Lawson recounted in an interview on Friday. He knew whom to turn to: David Hackworth, a retired colonel and a muckraker who was always willing to take on the military establishment. Mr. Lawson sent an e-mail message in March to Mr. Hackworth's Web site and got a call back from an associate there in minutes, he said.

Then there is the question of how the photographs became public.

Lt. Gen. Lance Smith, deputy commander of forces in the region, testifying Friday before Congress, said he was still unclear how that happened. "It was a surprise that it got out," General Smith said.

Military officials were aware of two disks with photographs on them that were part of continuing investigations, one in Iraq and another in Washington, he said.

"That was the limit of the pictures, and we thought we had them all," General Smith said.

Producers at "60 Minutes II" are not saying exactly how they got the photographs. But Jeff Fager, the executive producer, said, "We heard about someone who was outraged about it and thought that the public should know about it."
