Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Didn't AQ say that London would be first, followed shortly after by the US? Also, wasn't there supposed to be some kind of "warning" so that our leaders could watch an entire US city destroyed from the safety of a bunker?

I wonder what the timeline is. It almost seems that- the more the news leaks out in the mainstream press, the more pressured AQ will be to immediately act. I fear we have come to that point.

"To begin with, the Baltic states should be reminded that good-neighbor relations have nothing to do with military aircrafts barraging along the neighboring country borders. They are flying not just for pleasure, they are likely to be well-armed".

Meanwhile, Russian State Duma scheduled special meeting of the Security Council of Russia with the situation on Russian borders after the NATO expansion on the agenda, said Head of Duma Committee on International Relations Konstanin Kosachev.

He said that NATO had started "undertaking unfriendly step towards Russia".

"If the actions of this sort continue, and deployment of big number of NATO troops takes place near Russian borders, Russia should consider the opportunity of taking the measures of response to preserve the current balance of force in the region", Mr. Kosachev said.

They nip at each other, first to the right, then the left, over and over, then all of a sudden one makes a grab for the throat of the other and one will win.

That is what is happening to us, they have us guarding all area's, at home and abroad.....

When we get tired and lazy, they will strike, in the meantime, it is a nibble to the left and one to the right.

What we must not forget, is that clinton signed an executive order saying that we would absorb the first nuclear strike.

Yes, it is true, I don't recall the number, but it may have been in 1998 that it was signed.

Russia has always been our enemy, only the peaceniks that are learning how to be commies accepted the "Peace at last" thought.

You must keep in mind that half of the United States voted for Gore and that means that half or more are socialists/communist/democrats. We may not have enough citizens to even fight on our shores, who are willing to protect the country.

When half of your citizens think that the country is wrong and we should be united into one big world, the other half may not be enough for survival.

This time, it will be worse than the Civil war of 1860.

I sent a post to this thread and you about 20 minutes ago....somehow it has just disappeared.

RE: west nile virus. A very good friend of mine is still recovering from it. The weird thing is that up until last summer we never saw a mosquito where we live, or almost never. There is no standing water near us, and with the prevailing winds, the mosquitos have never been a problem......until last summer. I got my first mosquito bite in ten years. And I spend alot of time outdoors. I've issued a standing order to my family to use DEET whenever outside, and I've put a can of it in everyone's golf bags. I don't golf, (it's tedious and FR is more fun) but they all do and I want them protected.


A side note,

At my granddaughter's college graduation on Saturday, I learned that Dr. Julie Gerberding (Head of CDC in Atlanta) is from Estelline, South Dakota. She was awarded with some honorary degree. "Small town girl made good." She seems to be on top of this West Nile Virus thingy.

We used to use Avon Skin So Soft, it apparently is a scent that fends off the mosquitoes. I too am leery of the deet and repellent stuff. We need to check into natural remedies.
