Thanks.... yes, thankfully I'm headed off to warmer climates. I'm moving to southern Utah, a short distance from the Arizona border. Winters as I know them will become a thing of the past!
I will stop back at the Wisconsin boards though.

Add me. I'm an Illinoisan but I'm married to a Wisconsin girl, live 20 miles south of the border, and follow both state's politics with equal interest.

Nice job on the post, RD. Got the ping fine.
BIG mistake if JR does not restore the state lists. So much for grassroots activism.
I always knew LouD was good for more than his bull----. LOL!

I am in Schofield. More famously known as the other twin city to Wausau. I am having a great time, in spite of the SNOW SHOWERS IN APRIL! that we had yesterday.
I went to Gander Mountain and I had a blast! It is gun heaven! I bought a couple of thermal undershirts that were on sale ($9.97), lighters ($9.99) with the Gander Mt. logo, and a huge-a** duffle bag ($14.99) that you could stuff 2 or 3 full-size labs in them.
I love the burgers at Culvers!
And I'm enjoying the 15-cars-on-the-highway-constitutes-rush-hour. I love being away from the DC area and seeing all the cows and farms and NO TRAFFIC or protests. Y'all have a beautiful state. I hope to come back when the weather gets warmer.

Glad you are enjoying your visit. Snow in April is not unusual!
We visitied DC last summer. I hear you about all the traffic! I liked the neighborhoods we drove through on the NW side of town. Beautiful old homes.
Come on back in July. It's really pretty up north then.
