I never fail to be amazed by archaeologists who still think humans couldn't have gotten here from damn near anywhere else by water, as if they were too stupid 30,000 years ago to build boats. I personally believe transportation by water has been around ever since there have been humans living near shorelines and wondering what is "over there". The Olmec statuary at their ruins in Mexico strongly suggest people came here from the African continent, too.

The statue below was found in Olmec ruins too.
