I do wonder if those ads were done badly on purpose to keep that "down home" tone or not, though.

It sure is! I especially love the "more liberal than HC or TK" part. Fantastic! Not to be immodest, mind you, but that ad sounds and reads like a Free Republic thread. Excellent...and resonant!

Kerry's biggest negative is his voice, accent, and manner of speaking. Every time I hear him on radio or TV the words "insufferable blowhard" come to mind.I have much the same reaction, except that the words that come to my mind are "sanctimonious twit".

You mean the American version of this?

Come October, we'll see if a tape or film clip of Kerry exists doing a "Ho, Ho, Ho Chi Min, Viet Cong is gonna win" chant.

A subtle thing I have noticed about the Bush ads relates to the new campaign ads. You know where they have to say "I am George Bush and I approve this message". Most if not all of the Bush ads, say this at the beginning. Kerry does his at the end. To me, it is more powerful at the beginning, and also gives the viewer notice that Bush is getting ready to say something. When I hear Bush say this, I look up at the TV. Sometimes on the Kerry ads, I dont even notice its an ad until it is almost over. At the beginning, it's like "hey I am proud about what I am about to say". At the end, its kind of wimpy and thrown in. Anyone else notice this?

I like the ad.
I think the next ad should have Kerry's actual quote explaining how he doesn't actually own an SUV, that "it's his family's car", not his.

Yeah. I live in Texas and they've even been running ads here on cable networks.

To: Vigilanteman
Yeah. Even Rush thinks Kerry could possibly get a call from Bill Clinton and tell him he is "outa here" lest he take the party down with him. Of course you can guess who would be standing in the wings ready to accept the nomination and save the party; why Hillary of course.

I'll guarantee you that most of the tree huggers that scream the most wouldn't go camping or even spend a day out in "nature" anyway. All I know is that next time you see a PETA rally, just take a look at what's holding up their pants and what their shoes are made of!
Before you do, ask one of them what should be done to people who support the killing of animals. When they tell you, ask them if that's what they want now? They're all hypocrites.
