Something I don't understand about the whole "Bush Lied" train of thought-- is that to believe that you have to believe that Bush was crafty enough to devise this intricate plan, and yet never bother to finish the plan by planting some chemical artillery shells in Iraq.

If he knowingly lied about the Intel, all he had to do was plant them.

That they weren't planted is tantamount to proof that everyone believed that they'd be found there.

I still think that some stockpiles will eventually be found, either in iraq or syria. Saddam was nuts, but not that nuts. He wouldn't have played his hand so badly if he really had nothing.

What about the "Bush is an idiot who was played for a sucker by neo-cons who are now abandoning him like rats leaving a sinking ship" train of thought? Bush could have had a decent presidency but he shot himself in the foot by turning over his administration to the people who supported John McCain in the 2000 Republican primary.

Well, these are people who attempt simultaneously to believe that Bush is too stupid to tie his own shoes and smart enough to run a world-wide conspiracy worthy of the Bavarian Illuminati. They aren't rational. Hatred will do that.

The convoluted way you explained that is why the liberal pukes can't get it right ... they never seem to grasp that someone who is not a liar by nature doesn't have to convolute, just speak the truth and rely on the clarity of such. Even liberal dolts realize their idiocy (though they never, ever admit it) when further truth surfaces, as it will with this issue also. Also, watch for more to trickle out on Salman Pak and another terrorist training camp North of Baghdad.
