[history]
When Gorelick was exposed by Ashcroft and then asked to resign, the 9/11 commission's chairman, Tom Kean, said, "People ought to stay out of our business." Well, Chairman Kean, this is our business. We, the people, want and deserve the truth. We can even handle it. Put Gorelick where she belongs - on the opposite side of the bench, answering questions. Her actions during the Clinton administration are central to the commission's area of inquiry. Circling the wagons around her sends the wrong message. George Bogumirskas Saddle Brook, N.J.

As Gorelick sat on the panel, looking like an elephant trying to hide behind a flagpole, it was enough to make one wonder why she wasn't sitting in the witness chair instead. She's more like a donkey hiding behind Auntie Janet's skirts.

The organization and conduct of, and coverup by, this committee is
more than enough insight and evidence into EXACTLY
how we in America became vulnerable to the 911 Atrocities by al Qaeda.
Disgraced Commissioner Kean: "Ms Gorelick is one of the finest members
of the commission and one of the most bipartisan members.
People ought to stay out of our business."

Kean acts like he's running a kangaroo court in a Third World banana republic governed by a military junta. Somebody ought to explain to him how American government works.
"Mr Kean, when you operate on the taxpayers' dime, that makes it the taxpayers' business. Simple as that. Now if you want to get into the Constitutional imperatives, we'll be glad to oblige."

Gorelick lacks both the courage and the decency to resign. I doubt Gorelick would resign even if the American public suddenly outcried fiercely and loudly for her to resign and stand accountable for her actions. As long as she remains a member of this farce also known as the 9/11 commission, she will never have to face questions as to her intentions behind her reasoning of the now infamous "wall memo".

I'm all for putting Gorelick on the witness hot seat.....but if we expect her to tell the truth, under oath, we will be disappointed. Don't forget, she comes from the Clinton group where they wouldn't know the truth if it bit them in the A** - and a little thing like being "under oath" has never kept any of them from telling lies.

NPR explained today how the venom spewing John Ashcroft falsely accused and viciously slandered the gentle Ms. Gorelick in his self-serving 'testimony' before the 9-11 commission.
This morning's NPR went on to explain how the signed and initialed 'wall' memo was actually written by Ronald Reagan and how the gentle Ms. Gorelick has received 'death threats' after being smeared by hate-radio's vitriol spewing Rush Limbaugh.
I am not making this up...

NPR is the same outfit that refeered to what happened in NYC on 9-11 as the World trade Center collapse. So, yeah, I believe it :(

Tom Kean, said, "People ought to stay out of our business." There's a device available to accomplish that. It's called a closed committee. If you air it in public, don't be upset when people call you on it.

This is an email I sent to the 9-11 Commission:
"I'm glad Mr. Kean got his hearing aid working to hear what a circus he was running, what with Oprah's kitchen kangaroo court clowns in the background, clapping like trained seals.
Now where do I send Mr. Kean a pair of reading glasses, so he can read Ms. Gorelick's declassified memo?"

Kean the Klown did not forget for whom he REALLY works.
"According to a 1998 Senate testimony of former CIA director James
Woolsey, powerful financier Khalid bin Mahfouz younger sister is
married to Osama bin Laden,. (US Senate, Senate Judiciary
Committee, Federal News Service, 3 Sept. 1998, See also Wayne
Madsen, Questionable Ties, In These Times,12 Nov. 2001 )
Bin Mahfouz is suspected to have funneled millions of dollars to the Al
Qaeda network.(See Tom Flocco, Scoop.co.nz 28 Aug. 2002)
Now, "by sheer coincidence", former New Jersey governor Thomas
Kean, the man chosen by President Bush to lead the 9/11 commission
also has business ties with bin Mahfouz and Al-Amoudi.
Thomas Kean is a director (and shareholder) of Amerada Hess
Corporation , which is involved in the Hess-Delta joint venture with
Delta Oil of Saudi Arabia (owned by the bin Mahfouz and Al-Amoudi
clans)...
Now you would think that being a business partner of the brother in
law and alleged financier of "Enemy No. 1" would also be considered a
bona fide "conflict of interest", particularly when your mandate --as
part of the 9/11 Commission's work-- is to investigate "Enemy No. 1".
"(Michel Chossudovsky, New Chairman of 9/11 Commission had
business ties with Osama's Brother in Law , Centre for Research on Globalization, December 2002 )

Ms Gorelick is ... one of the most bipartisan members."Well, she is. She lies to both sides. Remember, she lied by omission to the commission: she didn't bother to tell them about the 2001 memo.

>> "Ms Gorelick is ... one of the most bipartisan members." This is true, she belongs to both the Socialist Party, and the Democrat Party. They do still maintain separate mailing addresses, although any money is funneled into the same bank account somewhere near Chappaqua.

Tom Kean is just a washed up has-been who is beloved by Democrats because he bends over backwards in order to earn their love and respect.
To: arasina
The only way she could be relatively nonpartisan in this gang is if more than half of the members of the commission are to the left of V.I. Lenin.
