Sure wish I was there. Went through 2nd Mar Div scout/sniper school but never got to play in a big game.

The Corps was a different place then however, after Vietnam, patriotism was low, politics were liberal.

Remember people flipping me off when I'd wear my Dress Blues on leave.

The Corps didn't change, but some of the American people made it rough to be a Marine for a little while.
I'm SOOO damn happy to see that turned around - at least, by most.

14000 rounds last two years. Leaving may 6 for first of three more trips this summer.
